Ed Wade, a front office executive who enjoyed a 42-year career in Major League Baseball, was inducted into the All Sports Museum and Hall of Fame of Southern New Jersey on April 12, 2025. As Vice President and General Manager for the Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros, Wade selected and developed core players that led to World Series Championships for the Phillies and the Astros.
An accomplished skydiver, full marathon runner and a published novelist in retirement, Ed and his wife, Roxanne and their family reside in Sewell, NJ.
