Sal Paolantonio

We’re proud to announce that our own All Sports Museum Hall of Famer, Sal Paolantonio, received the Dick Vermeil Lifetime Achievement Award at the 25th annual Otho Davis Foundation Scholarship Banquet held at the Marriott Old City in Philadelphia on November 1st.

“Sal Pal” is ESPN’s longest serving NFL Reporter in the history of the Network. A virtual “Who’s Who” of Philly sports icons were in attendance to honor Sal and his family.

This year’s Foundation banquet also honored the 15th Anniversary of the 2008 World Series Champion Philadelphia Phillies. Several former players, coaches and current team officials were in attendance.

The Otho Davis Foundation, based in Deptford, N.J., is named after the late Mr. Davis, head trainer for the Philadelphia Eagles for 23 years. The Foundation annually provides two $20,000 scholarships to 2 graduate school students studying sports medicine, sports training or sports marketing. Please visit their website for more information.
